DRUM ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

The drums, the pallets on which the drums will be placed and transported, and the labels to be affixed to the drums shall be supplied by our customers and delivered to Solventaş on the planned dates prior to the commencement of the filling operations. During the drumming process, Solventaş shall affix barcodes and labels to the drums in accordance with the MSDS information provided by the customer. Upon the customer’s request, labels supplied by the customer may also be applied to the drums.

The drums to be filled and the vehicles transporting them must comply with the following requirements:

Due to the presence of a tunnel passing under a railway line along the route used within the facility, the maximum vehicle height for vehicles delivering empty drums and transporting filled drums must not exceed 4 meters.

In accordance with our procedures, refurbished drums are not accepted for filling; all drums supplied for filling must be new and unused.

The drums must be made of steel and have a capacity of 220 liters.

Each drum must be equipped with one 2" filling bung and one 3/4" vent bung.

The drums must have a UN certification in compliance with the IMDG Code requirements for the transport of dangerous goods and be suitable for Packing Group I, Group II, or Group III, and must bear the relevant type approval marking.
